COMMUNITY SUPPORT
MACOL has been working with communities in different ways to support them. In many parts of where we operate our activities, we encounter diverse challenges. In these two shown images, MACOL is grateful that it has supported local community by funding the construction of road bridges to our farms. Local farmers were struggling to get to their farms particularly during rain season because pathway was not accessible due to flooding in many creeks or waterways. Now farmers who surrounding our farms are enjoying the way they can transport their crops all year around using motorcycles, bicycles, power trailer, etc… or even using hired trucks.
It is not only helping our neighbouring farmers but MACOL has been helping different groups including but not limited to: schools (students), churches, sports (see sports below), people with illnesses, etc…
In Kitanga village/ward one of the things that was hard to find was a good restaurant with modern equipment. When MACOL arrived in that village of more than 50,000 of population, we built a nice restaurant and installed freezers, fridge, CCTV Camera System, ceiling fans, TV, lightning system, Computer and printer, laminator and many other modern kitchen equipment… with all those equipment using new technology of solar system energy! We are talking about a village where a source of electricity can only be accessed through very small fuel generators.
For the very first time locals were able to access to chilled drinks and air-conditioned dining room with proper yummy meals 
.
MACOL is proud to be sponsor of a very well locally known football club called SUPER EAGLES CLUB based in Kiyungwe (Kitanga) village. The team has been competitor with other local teams. Our company is working around the clock to begin a new league called MACOL CUP LEAGUE where different clubs will compete during summer period. The winner will be crowned and the trophy will be presented to the winner by MACOL representative. We can’t wait to launch this exciting event!
